VENUE

SOUPS 2012 will be held at the AAAS building in Washington, DC. AAAS is located at 1200 New York Ave., NW. at the corner of 12th Street, N.W., with entrances at H Street and New York Avenue. The nearest Metro stop is Metro Center. For a detailed map of the area, click here.

Travel: Reagan National Airport is about 15 minutes away and accessible by Metro. Dulles International Airport and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) are about 45 minutes away by car. The B30 Metro Bus goes from BWI to the Greenbelt Metro Station. The 5A Metro Bus goes from Dulles to the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station.

Hotel: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Henley Park Hotel, which is less than a half mile walk from AAAS. SOUPS attendees can reserve a single/double room (with one king or queen bed) for $179/night or a junior suite (with one king or queen bed and a pull-out sofa) for $229/night.
