{"id":431,"date":"2014-12-11T21:11:24","date_gmt":"2014-12-11T21:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cups.cs.cmu.edu\/privacyillustrated\/?page_id=431"},"modified":"2018-07-16T19:52:36","modified_gmt":"2018-07-16T19:52:36","slug":"who-we-are","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cups.cs.cmu.edu\/privacyillustrated\/?page_id=431","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lorrie.cranor.org\" target=\"_blank\">Lorrie Faith Cranor<\/a> led the development of <em>Privacy Illustrated<\/em> along with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebeccahunt.com\" target=\"_blank\">Rebecca Balebako<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.cmu.edu\/~dkurilov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Darya Melicher<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manyasleeper.com\" target=\"_blank\">Manya Sleeper.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Privacy Illustrated grew out of \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/studioforcreativeinquiry.org\/projects\/deep-lab\" target=\"_blank\">Deep Lab<\/a>, a week-long initiative at the <a href=\"http:\/\/studioforcreativeinquiry.org\" target=\"_blank\">STUDIO for Creative Inquiry<\/a> at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmu.edu\" target=\"_blank\">Carnegie Mellon University<\/a>\u00a0in December 2014. During this week we collected our first 168 privacy drawings and created this website.\u00a0We also wrote a <a href=\"https:\/\/cups.cs.cmu.edu\/privacyillustrated\/?p=476\">book chapter<\/a> that describes\u00a0how we collected these initial drawings and some of the themes they represent.
