What is the purpose of this study?

The purpose of the study is to understand how families make decisions about the boundaries of online behavior for children. We are especially interested in how families perceive online risks, and what interventions or mitigation strategies they use to protect children from online risk.

What activities are required for this study?

A person who participates in this study will be required to do the following:

What is the compensation for this study?

Participants will be compensated $40 ($20 for adult, $20 for child) for a completed entrance survey, and an additional $40 ($20 for adult, $20 for child) for a completed exit survey. Participants will additionally receive a one-year license for a parenting software tool, paid for by the researchers.
