ISRI Seminar Series The Master of Software Engineering Program Presents: Thursday, 7 Oct. 2004, 12 pm, NSH 1305 lunch will be provided Speaker: Mark Paulk, Senior Systems Scientist, ISRI Title: The Future of Software Quality Abstract: This presentation addresses the role of process improvement and quality management in the software world. It provides an overview of some of the most important standards, models, and methods that may affect how processes and quality will be addressed, including CMMI, ISO 15504, and agile methods. Bio: Mark is best known for his work on the Capability Maturity Model for Software and software process improvement. He is currently working on the eSourcing Capability Model for Service Providers (eSCM-SP) and related sourcing topics. His current research interests center on high maturity practices, statistical control for software processes, and agile methods.
